​Over the years I have been lucky enough to work on many commissions. The client will usually have seen my work on my website or at an exhibition. I go to their house to look at the space for the painting and to talk about the kind of landscape that inspires them. I often make a specific trip to a location so that I can feel the energy of the place and translate that into a painting. The brief is very open to allow the painting to be a spontaneous expression.
