These portraits were done for an exhibition at Chenies Manor in Hertfordshire. Consequently I received a commission to paint a fruit and flower panel measuring 9 foot by 3 foot by American clients. They told me which fruit and flowers they would like to include and were included in decisions as the project progressed.
